Planning a wedding involves a lot of decisions, but the venue choice tends to settle most of them at once. The right setting answers the questions about ceremony space, accommodation, catering and the flow of the day before you have to ask them separately.

Eagle Ranch Resort in Invermere, BC does that. The property sits on a blufftop above the Columbia River in the Columbia Valley with an open-air ceremony gazebo, a private reception room, on-site catering, Headwaters Lodge accommodation and a dedicated wedding team, all on one property.

Here is what a wedding at Eagle Ranch actually includes.

The Setting Does the Work

Eagle Ranch is perched atop the bluffs above the Columbia River in the Columbia Valley with panoramic views of the river and distant mountain peaks. The open-air ceremony gazebo sits at the edge of those bluffs, giving couples an uninterrupted valley backdrop for the ceremony.

The gazebo accommodates up to 120 guests and includes a signing table, chair and linens, and set-up and tear-down of ceremony chairs. Chair rental, sound system rental and rehearsal access are also available. Floral and decor are not included and can be arranged through your own vendors or local partners.

On-Site Accommodation for the Wedding Party

Headwaters Lodge sits on the same property as the ceremony and reception spaces. The wedding guide describes it as a space where the wedding party can get ready on the morning of the event, and where the couple can retreat after the reception without leaving the property.

Suites at Headwaters Lodge include spacious suites and stylish sitting areas. The lodge includes a barrel sauna, cold plunge and fire pits, and daily breakfast is included with accommodation. Preferential room rates are available for wedding groups booking a room block.

Having accommodation steps from the reception means guests do not need to coordinate transport at the end of the evening. The couple’s suite is a short walk from the event spaces.

What the Day Can Look Like

The ceremony takes place at the open-air gazebo. The Rustica Room hosts the reception: a private heated space with sweeping valley views that accommodates up to 40 guests. It includes tables, chairs, plates, cutlery, linens and glasses. A private heated patio is also available, and cocktail hour can be hosted on the patio overlooking the Columbia Valley.

On-site catering is provided by the Eagle Ranch culinary team. Menu options include a three-course plated dinner (from $99 per guest), a five-course plated dinner (from $135 per guest), cocktail hour canapes, grazing boards and platters and late-night snacks. Bar service options include a subsidised bar or a host bar. Pricing is subject to applicable taxes and a 20% gratuity.

Because catering is on-site, there is no need to coordinate outside food service vendors or additional rentals for tableware. The events team handles those details directly.

Capacity and Booking

The Gazebo accommodates up to 120 guests for the ceremony. The Rustica Room accommodates up to 40 guests for the reception. Eagle Ranch is well suited to intimate celebrations where the setting and the experience are the priority. For couples who want a larger reception, the events team can advise on layout and configuration options.

An all-inclusive package for up to 10 guests is available starting at $6,000 and covers the rehearsal dinner on the patio, private gazebo ceremony with a sparkling wine toast, Rustica Room reception dinner with a custom three-course menu and wine service, a two-night luxury suite for the couple, a room block for guests and daily breakfast. Optional enhancements include a round of golf and access to the sauna and cold plunge.

Why Couples Choose Eagle Ranch Over Other Columbia Valley Venues

Eagle Ranch brings together the ceremony space, the catering, the accommodation and the activities in one property. The dedicated wedding team is available from the initial venue tour through to the final toast, and works with the couple, their wedding planner and chosen vendors throughout.

For couples looking to extend the celebration, the championship golf course is available for pre- or post-wedding rounds and the surrounding Columbia Valley offers breweries, distilleries and lake access. Local vendor recommendations including wedding coordinators, florists, rental companies and photographers are available through the events team.
